Background

Marcel has a gained expertise in international tax topics through his previous employment relationsship with Ernst & Young GmbH in Germany and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the United States. After a combined 9 years with the two firms, Marcel started Sow U.S.-Global Tax Services, P.C. in 2017 to offer a more personalized and less stressful approach to navigating the U.S. tax system.

Marcel has worked with U.S. / Global clients for whom issues of double taxation, application of U.S. income tax treaties and U.S. withholding tax obligations were of high interest. He has also assisted numerous clients with fulfilling their U.S. tax obligations before renouncing their U.S. citizenship, as well as those who have become tax compliant by participating in the Streamlined Foreign (Domestic) Offshore Procedure.
